A Curriculum Designed Around Every Stage
Foundational Stage
Ages 3–8 • 3 years of Pre-School plus Classes 1 & 2 — a joyful start with structured play, storytelling, craft and singing that builds sensory, motor, social and communication skills.
Preparatory Stage
Ages 8–11 • Classes 3 to 5 follow a coherent, play-based curriculum focused on reading, writing and nurturing independent, creative and logical thinkers.
Music & Drama
Song, instrumental training, choir, ensembles and specialist drama classes help students express themselves and grow confidence in front of others.
Physical & Outdoor Education
Weekly sessions combined with a staged approach to skill development and rich outdoor learning opportunities for every child..
Digital Technologies
Sound foundations in Years 3–6 prepare students to thoughtfully and responsibly engage with digital technologies.

Stage 01 • 5 Years
Foundational Stage
Ages 3–8 • 3 Years of Pre-School and Classes 1 & 2
We offer you and your child the very best start with involved, enthusiastic and positive staff — easing the transition into Kindergarten and full-time school.
St. Johns has a structured program of outside and inside play, storytelling, craft and singing, allof which are designed to engage your child in new experiences that develop their sensory, motor, social and communication skills.
Stage 02 • 3 Years
Preparatory Stage
Ages 3–8 • 3 Years of Pre-School and Classes 1 & 2Ages 8–11 • Focused on reading, writing and play-based learning
Classes 3 to 5 are taught a coherent curriculum with designed learning opportunities. We aim to grow students into independent thinkers who use creativity, invention and logic to present and interpret their views.
Stage 03 • 3 Years
Middle Stage
Ages 11–14 • Focused on subject-specific curriculum
This stage of earning is an extension of the preparatory stage. Our teachers choose contexts for learning, and plan learning in ways that best fit the age-appropriate challenge and skill development needed as well as a variety of co-curricular activities that enhance the school experience for all students.
The students receive a quality curriculum that delivers academic, creative and practical learningoutcomes.
